    Eagle Mountain Real Estate

    Eagle Mountain is a newer city in Utah County and was incorporated on December 3, 1996. The city has quickly become known for its rapid population growth. It is located to the west of Utah Lake and borders Saratoga Springs. While the city itself is new, the area has a rich history including a site along the Pony Express Trail and 10,000 year old rock art petroglyphs. The city has nearly 40 parks and is considered an ideal location for families. 

     

    Things to do

    The Ranches Golf Club – Nestled in the hillside between Lehi and Eagle Mountain, the golf club features a Western theme and is an 18 hole championship golf course. It sits on 220 acres and includes a cafe. 

    Mountain Ranch Bike Park – The park is a mecca for those into stunt biking and mountain biking. The Mountain Ranch Bike Park offers a skills park, a pump track, a jump line, and several technical trails. There are areas for every level of difficulty and is a popular attraction for anyone into mountain biking. 

    Nolan Park Splash Pad – Although Eagle Mountain has nearly 40 parks, Nolan Park is definitely a hot spot. It features a large splash pad, a pavilion, and restrooms open during the summer. It’s a great way to beat the summer heat. 

    Silver Lake Amphitheater – The amphitheater is a large outdoor concert venue and a popular gathering place for locals. In the summer, the city also hosts several “movie in the park” nights and many gather for fireworks displays.The general admission lawn seating can hold up to 6,000 and has a pavilion, large grassy areas as well as a park for the kids. 

     

    Places of Interest

    Pony Express Trail – The Pony Express Trail runs through the city of Eagle Mountain, and the city has embraced its heritage by creating a unique trail system that highlights the history. Signs dot the trail and provide information about the Pony Express as well as education about the surrounding geographic elements. 

    Three Warriors Petroglyph – The petroglyph panel in Eagle Mountain is relatively small in size, but is thought to be up to 10,000 years old. The city is working to preserve these historical petroglyphs, but residents can see for themselves by taking a short walk off the Pony Express Trail. 

    Shopping

    Porter’s Crossing Town Center – For residents of this growing community, Porter’s Crossing is a welcome addition. It is the first of soon to be many shopping areas in the town and has a family market, a few restaurants, a pharmacy, and a health clinic. It is a growing shopping center that will continue to add value to the community. 

    Parkway Crossroads – Just west of Porter’s Crossing is another blossoming shopping center center. It boasts several more restaurants, a fitness center as well as vision, dental, and car maintenance locations. 

     

    Schools

    Schools in Eagle Mountain are part of the Alpine School District. The school district encompases most of Utah County and a portion of the city of Draper in Salt Lake County. It is the largest school district in Utah.
