FAMILY 1
This is a family of seven, with five boys! Their youngest son, who is nearly two years old, has a benign tumor in his middle ear. It’s so rare that there are only 4 documented cases in the world. A routine ear tube placement made him really sick and the complications from it wiped out his immune system, elevated his liver enzymes, and hospitalized him twice. He can’t have surgery to remove it yet because he is still so little.
The family leases a low-income townhouse.
The family wish list includes:
- Bigger home with a fenced yard
- Service dog for the health and safety of their youngest child
- Better and more reliable car to fit seven people
- Video gaming system
